Multi-Week School Partnerships

Our multi-week partnerships are open to all grade levels. These longer programs provide students with continual, hands-on marine science education in Hawai’i. Through these multi-week partnerships, students are able to gain experience working alongside Ocean Alliance Project to get an idea of what working in marine conservation really looks like. This consistent engagement helps keiki build a deeper understanding of Hawaiʻi’s marine environments.

What Does a Multi-Week School Partnership Look Like?

We work closely with educators to build our programs so that they align with your specific grade-level and classroom goals. Each partnership is tailored to meet the needs of your students and school for the most impactful experience! With flexible structures, locations, and focus areas, these programs serve as great extensions of in-school learning.

Throughout the program, students participate real-world learning both in the field and in the classroom. We bring keiki along with us for reef observation, species identification, data collection, and environmental monitoring of our local ecosystems.

Why Partner with Ocean Alliance Project

This program provides:

  • A stronger understanding of marine ecosystems
  • Experience in practical marine science and conservation
  • Increased confidence in outdoor and field-based spaces
  • A deeper connection to place and responsibility to care for it
