Our one-day field trips and school visits provide students an easy and fun way to explore marine conservation. Through one-day field experiences, students participate alongside OAP. Keiki participate in field work, observation, and direct interaction with our marine environments here in Hawai’i. We also bring interactive ocean education directly into schools and classrooms. Set up a day with us to engage students in marine science, advocacy, and the importance of protecting our oceans!

One-Day Field Trips
Bring your students out to learn from and work with OAP through a one-day field trip. Field trips allow students to step outside of the classroom and into our marine environments. During field trips, students visit OAP to participate in field work and marine science activities. This gives students the opportunity to experience marine conservation through the work we do every day. Learn about OAP’s conservation initiatives including ecosystem monitoring, reef restoration, regenerative tourism, and cultural integration. These trips are designed not just to educate, but also to show students ways they can get involved in ocean conservation and protect marine environments themselves.
Classroom and School Visits
We bring marine science directly to your school through interactive, educator-led presentations and activities. Classroom visits are tailored to each grade level. Visits will include topics such as coral reef ecology, marine biodiversity, human impacts on the ocean, and ways students can take action to protect Hawaiʻi’s reefs. Students will gain a stronger understanding of reef ecosystems, their importance to Hawaiʻi, and how individual actions can contribute to healthier oceans.
We would love to help you bring marine science education to your students through field trips and school visits. Please reach out to learn more about available programs, scheduling, and how we can create an experience tailored to your class!
